Public Relations

 

The Public Relations committee of Penn EWB aims to raise our organization’s awareness on campus, within the local areas, and in the regional and global communities. Our committee members aim to spread EWB’s mission and projects through planning club fairs, hosting fundraisers, creating marketing materials, establishing outreach partnerships and programs, identifying grant opportunities, and hosting internal socials.

Last year, PennEWB hosted the EWB USA’s Northeast Regional Conference. As EWB-USA’s largest conference with over 400 students and professionals attending the 3-day conference, our chapter was able to raise nearly $20,000 from our sponsors and conference attendants to help support our international commitments. Previously, the Public Relations committee has also hosted silent auctions as well as smaller fundraisers and social events on campus.
